Currently I live in the heart of Seattle in a charming 1911 craftsman. I have a lot of hands-on experience and background with
Seattle homes. I pride myself in having a knack for
seeing the "potential" that a property has to offer, and not just taking it
at face value. Sometimes simply pointing out different options and
potential for a home can make a not-so- interested buyer turn into a serious
buyer. In my own home I personally have done extensive
remodeling and repairs. It was essentially a "diamond in the rough".
And because of my remodeling/construction experience, I can also help
to point out potential problems before you decide to make an offer to
purchase a home.
Another benefit that I have to
offer is that I'm very tech-savvy and am able to present you with the
latest in home marketing ideas, perhaps even some brand new ones! The
internet has completely changed the way that people shop for homes, and I can
guarantee your home will get the maximum possible exposure with the newest
virtual tours and advertising techniques, both on and off of the internet.
With my professionalism,
expertise, energy and enthusiasm, I guarantee that together we
will be successful in negotiating the sale of your present home or the
purchase of a new one.

Now.....a little bit about myself outside of the office!
I'm originally from North
Dakota of all places! I was born and raised in the heart of ND, and
also attended college at North Dakota State University in Fargo. "Ya,
sure, you betcha!" :-) Now, there was something inside of me
telling me that I just didn't belong in ND, so I picked up and moved out to
Seattle without knowing a single person. I fell in love with the Northwest and
have been here ever since.
I have done a lot of work as a
molecular biologist for local biotech companies like
Fred Hutchinson Cancer
Research Center, ZymoGenetics Inc., and
Primal Inc. But my love for
Seattle homes took over about 6 years ago when I went through the purchase
and remodel of my first home. I now enjoy working as a full-time
real estate agent with Rockwell
Realty, LLC.
When I'm not busy working, I
truly love the outdoors. And of course I always have to bring my
beloved sidekicks with me....my Rhodesian Ridgeback named "Asha", and my
Border Collie/Ridgeback mix named "Jonesy". Never a dull moment with
these two!
I enjoy backpacking,
mountaineering, climbing, running, and volunteering my time with both local
and international charities. I have spent time in rural Nepal building
houses for homeless families, in Bolivia working at a volunteer health camp
in a remote village, and locally I volunteer with
Seattle Children's
Hospital, Habitat for Humanity,
Kindness in Action, and local Seattle art
galleries including "The Forgotten Works" art gallery.
